Opteka test
We had a beautiful full moon tonight and it was the ultimate challenge for my Opteka 500mm lens. Well, I have to say that I’m a little bit disappointed, but oh well, I kinda expected the result. This is taken with the 2x teleconverter on tho, which makes the quality even worse. At least I can see that it is the moon 🙂
So what do I shoot with?
Many people wonder what I shoot my pictures with?
I have Nikon D300 camera and a couple of lenses. Due to a tight student budget the collection is not where I want it yet, but I’m slowly getting there….
My main lens is a Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3, but i also have a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6.
A couple of years ago i bought an Opteka 500mm telephoto lens. Not the best lens out there but in the right light conditions and with a good tripod it produces some fairly decent pictures.
In addition I always carry around my Pentax W90 waterproof point and shoot just for those moments I can’t miss, and it’s always nice to have a waterproof camera.
I also have a Nikon Speedlight SB 900.
Update:
I also have a Nikkor 35mm f1.8 and a Nikkor 50mm f1.4
